Community Fundraising events - Biggest Morning Tea

Jan Consoli organises the Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council. Approx $2000 each event has been raised. Nearly 100 people enjoyed the morning, catching up with friends, making new friends and delighted in the delicious cakes and pastries baked by members of the community.  Photo album>>>>>

Our retired members play a significant role in the community and  it is important to respect and recognise the vital contribution they make as volunteers, neighbours, friends, parents and grandparents. They were instrumental in building our Hall and still continue to maintain it for use by all the community.

Fun in retirement

If you are a senior member of our community, or if you have recently retired, there are many groups where you can find friendship and have fun through social interaction and activities -

Probus has branches across the state. They organise travel for seniors and others for a fee to cover insurance and provide discounts for accommodation and tour facilities.
