Our Cenotaph
The Empire Bay Cenotaph bears the names of those local men and women
who lost their lives during the World Wars. Centrally located within a roundabout near the Empire Bay shops, ferry wharf and boat ramp, it takes pride of place
in the Bay. The gardens, plinths and honour rolls are lovingly maintained
by local volunteers. Every morning and evening the flag is raised and
lowered as a sign of remembrance.
